Former US President Donald Trump has been fined a huge amount by a court of the country for suing on allegations of vote rigging.
According to the order, Trump and his chief attorney Alina Haba and other lawyers fighting the case on his behalf will have to pay a fine of about one million dollars for making false accusations against former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
District Judge John Middlebrooks gave the verdict on Thursday local time. Reuters news.
John Middlebrooks was appointed to this bench by Hillary Clinton's husband and then President Bill Clinton in 1997. In a 45-page ruling, John Middlebrooks said Trump's complaint was not meritorious. So it was not accepted. The court will not hear any case on this issue in future. Hillary Clinton was the Democratic candidate in the 2016 US presidential election. Trump sued him.
